Being able to communicate and further RPI as a whole in conjunction with the administration is vital. It is important that the students and the administration are on the same page to further RPI in any and all aspects. This positive relationship can be built on the constructive common interest of benefitting RPI.
As Grand Marshal, I will:
- Invite Dr. Jackson to informally meet with the Student Senate in hopes of better communication between the Student Senate and the administration;
- Invite the Chairman of the Board of Trustees to meet on a semesterly basis with the Grand Marshal and President of the Union to discuss the interests of the student body in the spirit of collaboration and a common love for RPI;
- Advocate for the addition of recent alumni on the Board of Trustees to provide a new perspective of how RPI is perceived by its students.
